Does this idea solve a real problem? Looking for feedback!

Hey Indie Hackers! đź‘‹

I’m working on an AI-powered app to help English learners & job seekers improve their spoken English and interview skills. Many people struggle with confidence while speaking, especially in professional settings.

The idea is to create an app that offers:

  1. Random 1-on-1 audio chats to practice real conversations.
  2. AI-powered mock interviews that analyze resumes & ask job-related questions.
  3. Real-time feedback on pronunciation, fluency, and grammar.

I’d love to know:

Do you think this is a real problem worth solving?

What do you think about the approach?

Would you use something like this (or do you know someone who might)?

Not selling anything—just looking for real feedback before moving forward. Let me know your thoughts!

Check out existing competitors, e.g. Intro app, LunchClub

This might not be the ideal place for your question. I recommend sharing it in language learning groups for more targeted advice.
