I launched https://design2ionic.com, a service to build mobile apps from from screen designs in any format.
This is targeted for people who have an app idea or screen designs for mobile apps and need somebody to create an app for both Android and iOS.
The key points that I am trying to convey are
Does the copy of the website convey these messages?
Imagine that you have designs for a mobile app related to your idea. What information would you like to see to make the offer more appealing?
Thank you all in advance.
The product and content looks great and the layout of info, the colours I struggled with, but maybe thats just me. I'm not quite sure how you're able to offer such a service at such a cheap price but I don't know much about ionic will have to look into this more.
The only thing I'd suggest is to get your customers showcase samples up as soon as you start getting products out the door. A logo and a link to their page/product. Because at the moment, the two reasons that might put me off your service is;
Slight spelling mistake:
How to you count data driven screens?
to=do.
Thank you Pete for the detailed response.
I will definitely use your feedback to improve the site.
I am working on getting the samples and customer testimonials in place. Will have it in the next version of the site.
Also @innov8or any ideas for getting independent rating of the service? Are you thinking about clutch, upwork etc?
Upwork makes a good screenshot for the Testimonials and stars. Probably a great acquisition channel too.
For reviews I think there is a way to get into Google results with the stars rating so anyone who Google's you will see that rating. Not sure of the details.
Don't know much about clutch.
I'm interested in your services in the future.
Good idea. I will use them.
Also it will be a pleasure to be of help to you.
All right, there's a lot going on right here.
Positives
Now for the cons
Pointers
Wow, first of all, a lot of respect 🙏 for the detailed critique. This is the kind of stuff that makes me improve.
Thank you so much for sparing the time and giving me so much to learn. I will definitely share my progress with you when I release the next iteration of the landing page.
Of course! Hope I gave you actionable advice! :)
Way too much noise going on. Whenever I open a site with that much stuff thrown at me, it feels like someone is shouting at me to buy their shit over and over.
Yes, that I realized is the common feedback.
I am working on the next iteration of the landing page and that will be the primary focus of the next version.
Thank you so much for sparing the time for review and giving your honest feedback.
No, sorry.
People who say this looks great are either lying or don't have a keen eye for design.
If the people behind this website were to develop my app I'd be really worried.
I hear you and I understand. Sincere thanks for the honest feedback.
You and everybody here has provided me a bunch of inputs for the next iteration of website.
Sincere thanks once again for sparing the time and the honest feedback.
is making app really that simple?
It depends. We have been building mobile and web apps for the past 20 years so we have a lot of in-house tools to automate a bunch of stuff and we are just passing on those benefits to our clients.
Also this price is more of an introductory offer to start engaging with potential customers.
We hope that we will get more clarity over time and update our strategy as we learn new things.
Nice. I get your message. Well displayed.
Thank you Ankur for your feedback.
Welcome.
Can you go through my site and give me some feedback?

Sure will do tomorrow 👍

You are correct.
Actually there are two kinds of services that I offer through this website:
Ionic developers just want somebody to convert a design to Ionic pages (similar to converting a PSD to HTML) and then they add business logic themselves. I think this is a requirement because that way I take care of the most boring, time consuming and expensive part of the app development lifecycle.
In this case I do not need to know the business requirements because it is just one to one mapping of design to UI elements.
For clients who want complete app, this form is just a means to initiate the first contact. I wanted the first contact to be as simple as possible. In the next step, I would contact the client and initiate the discussion related to the business and non-functional requirements.
