Hey everyone. I'm sort of in the same boat many folks on here are--I am involved in a very wide range of projects, and I have issues figuring out the best organizational system to manage them.
I do freelance work for several clients. I also have a business where I sell static website assets (templates, themes, etc). And I have my own side projects on the side where I'm working on code and developing a SaaS product.
How do you guys approach juggling multiple things at a time? It seems like my brain only has the capacity to do one thing at a time before losing motivation, trying to figure out ways to increase my bandwidth.
Do any of you have a philosophy, system, or strategies to help you achieve progress in multiple areas simultaneously?
Thanks!
I'd say do things one at a time. You can really increase the quality if you put all of your focus on one project because you won't have the other projects filling up your mind.
I think it's better to do things in serial in large chunks of time. Unless they use independent resources.
I try to separate them as much as possible. Work one thing in the morning and another thing in the afternoon. Ideally one thing = one day. This way I reduce constant switching, which hinders my focus and gives me a headache.
Same boat, but I try to only commit to one.
