What is Fackl and who is it for?
A few weeks ago, I needed to buy some flooring for my condo. I looked on Google maps for a local business and called the first one that popped up.
A guy answered the phone and said "uhh, hello? This is John". Expecting the usual, "This is X Flooring, how may I help you?" I was just as surprised as him.
"Hey, I'm calling for GroundPounders Flooring? I need to order some vinyl planks".
John immediately snapped into character and said "Ohh yes! Of course. What are you looking to order?"
It was obvious I called his cell phone and that he had no idea I was a business caller. On his end, he just saw a random number calling.
We built Fackl for for people like John -- those who use their cell phone for work and have no idea how to distinguish a random spam call from a work related call.
Fackl lets you use different numbers for different areas of your life and shows you the type of caller (i.e. "Customers", "Google Callers", etc.) as the caller ID instead of a random number.
In the above example, John could have posted his Fackl number instead of his cell phone to Google and when I called, the caller ID would have displayed as "GroundPounders" to let him know before he answers the phone that I am calling about his business.
