If you are doing that, then maybe you are losing some customers or atleast annoying some people.
I updated Feedbak recently to help customers setup trigger rules and ask their users for feedback (in the chat format) for various events like:
- Exit intent
- x mins of inactivity on the site
- Minimum number of visits - so you get prompted for feedback when you come back to the site after x visits
- Frequency capping - number of times a user can be prompted for feedback in a session
- Custom events - you can create feedback loop for custom events like customer login, purchase successful, x button clicked etc
All these options are now live and freely available for anyone to try out on Web. Would love to know if you have any feedback.
I am exploring 2 themes now:
- Allowing users to use their own google form, survey form, youform in the feedback widget based on the rules
- Adding these advanced rules for Apps (Ex - target via push notification if user is in-active for x days asking for feedback)
What do you think? Do any of these make sense? Which one and why?
Thanks,
Vipul
Really cool concept! I just tried out your feedback widget on your site and I love the idea.
One small usability issue I noticed: when writing longer feedback messages, the widget doesn’t expand vertically, so I have to scroll horizontally and can only see a few words at a time. Other than that, the experience is great, and I think you’re onto something really promising.
Wishing you lots of success!
