Drastic UX Improvement on Most Valuable Feature

The Twitter Growth Dashboard aims to provide actionable advice on how to develop a Twitter audience. The Growth View this was the most valuable part of the product. However, it had several UX issues:

  • It was boring
  • Contained repetitive text
  • Information was not delivered visually
  • Lacked interactivity
  • Build with monotonous, dry colors.

It looked like this:

Original Version

After a dozen user interviews, including some with UX experts it looks:

Final Version

Notice that I added:

  • A beautiful graded chart
  • Substituted redundant text with a table that added dynamism.
  • Added colorful emojis
  • A slimmer more elegant design for panel elements.

I posted the full four iteration cycle in a Linkedin carousel, your likes are appreciated and I would also like to connect with fellow IHs that are also building in public on that platform.

You can check the new feature live in the Twitter Growth Dashboard and would love to hear your feedback on it!
