I was also thinking about a product like this. Making an automated reply tool has some complexities like Reddit account handling, subreddit bans, etc.. But I think the idea is great. You can add a showcase of sample posts. Good luck!
Thank you for feedback! yes, my biggest competitor is reddit bans :) but I'm using old and good karma accounts, only sometimes subreddits removed our comments but I'm working on better comments.
Don't you think people and communities on Reddit would rather have a human being engaging with them rather than a bot? I think a tool for identifying these posts makes sense but most people on Reddit can see right through the subtle shilling that often happens.
Yes I thought the same thing. I hate bots too, actually I hate the idea at first but many people write everything with AI nowadays. I think that if I train the AI well, having the AI send the first message and forwarding it to the product owner according to the responses will save a lot of time and they get leads easily. I'm currently collecting real human data, so I plan to release v2 next month.
