I want to find a simple drone that has a huge range.. like miles / kilometre range. I don’t care about camera usage, Doesn’t have to go super high either, just go a long distance ... not military style, like under a thousand dollars... if anyone has drone experience please let me know, I am a noob at drones :D

Why do you only want it for mileage? Do you want to learn how to drive one, or? My personal opinion is that one of the best qualities of a drone is its video quality. It's why the majority of people want to buy drones now or want to have drone footage at different events in their life. I remember when I finished high-school two years ago, we wanted to have something unique at the ball, something that will amaze everyone and one of my colleagues came up with the idea to film some of the event with a drone.
