Drop a link and I'll review your landing page

Hey guys,

I'm about to ship https://taken.to and I've been trying to perfect the landing page for a while, in terms of simplicity and being able to quickly understand what the project is about.

With that being said, it's good for me to see some other pages and I will write some feedback to you here if you drop a link to your project.

Isaac

**Update - fell asleep last night + I just launched on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/taken-to/ - will be doing them all TODAY so appreciate your patience.

Any posts from Monday PST time I won't be doing - sorry! (18 hours left to post)

*** 2nd Update - the deadline has been reached. Don't post now, I won't do it. Will be finishing them all today, been super busy with the taken.to launch, thanks again!

Just went through a refresh so would love your feedback! https://phonic.ai

A refreshing UI - I'm not used to this, gives me old school vibes but I like it. Only things that bother me slightly is the container length sometimes changes around the website, so it doesn't flow in one straight line for my eyes - but maybe that's on purpose?

Super interesting project - albeit I know nothing about dividend investment. How many users/investors do you have currently out of interest?

      1. 1

Thank you for your feedback. I just started about 1.5 months ago and got 99 investors/users.

      Looks super nice!

Not much to comment on, it does the job in explaining what the product does in an intuitive way - I would maybe just add some padding below "FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS" and then also align the footer downloads text with the content underneath.

Hey Isaac, I'm starting a new community where people can help others with this kind of feedback. Could I share the link with you?

Found Taken.to through Hacker News - brilliant work there, just gave you an upvote on Product Hunt as well!

I recently posted a Show HN asking feedback about my website as well - you should be able to find it in the new Show HN posts - it's titled "Show HN: Database of available one-word domains and domain hacks across 20 TLDs"

    If you can't, here's the website: https://www.oneword.domains/

    Thanks a lot!

Heres ours, we recently gave it a revamp and added a blog section. We're now looking at a 'how it works' type of page to add in the future.

That's a great initiative! Here's mind, curious what you think. It might not be clear from the get go what it is: midnight.pub

I went to check out your Taken page, it looks very promising.
I feel a little uncomfortable pasting here the landing page here that I'd like to have an opinion on. Here it is: https://www.revenue.land In the meantime, thanks for the offer, Isaac.

Hey, drive by feedback, I work at a company that has a product which does this. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING for hosting custom models is quick, debuggable, and understandable model testing. Message me and I can chat about it :)

      1. 1

Also your environments links don't load, thats probably important too.

    Here's mine: http://usertrack.net/

Your app looks really cool, I like how the preview is implemented.

I was confused by your landing page though, had no idea what your app does. The hero image is just a gradient?

Also, I have no idea what this means:

Take everyone to the right place with a beautiful, smart page.

    1. 1

Also, a small note, the name: taken.to/name sounds a bit like a redirect service, like bit.ly/name.

I would love to hear feedback on https://abridge.io.

      Hey hey,

I like the design aesthetic. A few things I'm unsure about:

      • what multi factors are you doing for authentication?
      • what are "existing services"

      Also just to be complete:

      • maybe have more than one blog
      • the image is a bit scary with eye, maybe something less punchy that also explains to the viewer that you are in security? a lock perhaps?

But overall really nice and the FAQs answer the questions I needed to know.

Looks super nice! I understood it very quickly and looks to be a useful product.

Some things that could maybe be even better:

      • Less text above the sign up. I think just "Capture email, feedback, feature request and other details on static websites with customizable UI components".
      • Instead of "Supercharge your static website" maybe just "No need to write backend code".

@harrydry gives good advice on writing like a human in his marketing examples: https://twitter.com/GoodMarketingHQ/status/1258052570263756802?s=20

But overall, very nice design, aesthetically pleasing and I understand what your product does very quickly. Especially like the animation!

      1. 1

For whats it's worth “No need to write backend code” is a nice title I think.
