Hi Lee, it's always interesting to get some feedback.

Hey there, I just checked your site and I really like it.

      • At first glance, it looks clean and nice, with good CTA.
      • The demo video is really good and to the point, so I can immediately understand what your product does (no need to scroll-down) with some real use cases.
      • Clear header with drop-down menu
      • The subtitles below "the team inbox with super powers" may be too long (it's OK in another place), because people don't like reading long texts at first glance.
      • I think you should add more information when users scroll down, such as the benefits of your product, what I will get when using your product, and what your product does better than others. It's good for people who don't watch your demo too.
      • The CTA at the bottom should be more prominent and noticeable.
      • Finally, the tab tile is a big bonus point, really easy to understand.

You are going to be amazing!

Thanks Lee for taking the time to check our page. Yes, we need to add some more details. Very good points. I will think about it. Thanks a lot for your suggestions, Lee.

Hey I'd love some feedback on how to structure my website and how to improve my copy
    virtualtoursindy.com

Hey Majid, I just visited your site, and I would say I was really impressed at first glance!

      • My first feeling is that it looks simple but powerful!
      • I really like the background animation.
      • I can totally understand what you do.
      • Nothing to say so much, but there is always room to improve.

      Here are some:

      • The big text seems too thick. I think changing the font or just reducing it to a thicker style will give a better look and feel.
      • The subtitle should be more visible or darker (it's pretty hard to read).
      • The "more image" button placed in the image should be more noticeable! (I almost didn't notice that option).
      • Perhaps you should explain more about what you do, like: your process for doing your work is simple in some steps. It takes little time, quickly, not too expensive, but has a significant impact,...
      • Make this statement somehow more prominent: "According to Zillow, using virtual tours in your listing increases views by 68 percent." Because people are always impressed by the numbers.

I wish you all the best!

Hey Michael, I just visited your site and there are very few minor suggestions to improve because it's actually so good! But there's always room to improve, so here are some of my thoughts.

      • The overall theme of your site is pretty good! It's clean and beautiful. I love that style, with a clear CTA too.
      • But the headline seems too long; it takes 3 lines to read (this makes your message feel disjointed). If you can't cut the text any shorter, you can make the text size smaller. Fitting in 2 lines will absolutely feel better.
      • I really like the way you show all about your product in five option tabs that show an image by each title. This is a smart way to show off your product without taking up too much space.
      • But one thing I think can still be improved to help users understand more what your product does, like: how about the steps (to do it)? What precisely does "real user" mean? How and where are they from? Is it legit? What are your advantages over other competitors?
      • I think your solution is great, so I think you should talk more about the problem. This will make the audience have a strong feeling about the problem, so they should try your tool the right way!

You are doing great, I'll definitely try it too :)

Hey - I just check https://getlaunchlist.com/ and I loved it.

Almost everything is on point and there are very few minor suggestions to improve from my side.

      1. I was not able to understand the "viral" part in the page title. What makes this form viral? For example, if user refer, what kind of benefits can be given to them via the product is something that was not clear.

      2. I would have loved to use the product before signup just like the Carrd website. I know it could be a major change to the product but it can give me a lot of confidence if I can use it without signup and then finally save it once work is done.

I think from a marketing-website perspective - you are on the right track. Although, my major concern is that you have launched a product in such a competitive field that driving traffic to it and converting them to a paying customer could be difficult.

I wish you all the best.

      1. 1

Hi, thanks for taking the time to check LaunchList. I really appreciate it :)

        1. You have to set your benefit, it varies from product to product. LaunchList only helps users who referred the user to move up the waiting list on successful referrals. You can set benefits that motivate your users to share your website in the hope of getting rewards. It can be a coupon or early access to your product for users who referred the most number of users.
We will make changes to simplify the viral message on the landing page.

        2. I understand your point. I will see if it is possible.

The main reason I built this product is that our competitors are charging an absurd amount of money which makes it difficult for startups/solo founders in the early stage to use similar products. We're not worried about competitors, few of our customers have switched from well-known competitors because of high cost, customer support, and bad design.

I am struggling with marketing. Do you have any suggestions on how to market?

        1. 1

For marketing - you need to figure out at least a single channel that can bring traffic to your website on a consistent basis. It could be SEO, Partnerships, Directory listing, Ads, Social Media, or anything else. email me on milan84(@)gmail if want to connect.

          1. 1

Thanks. How do I figure out the channel? Currently, SEO and Reddit are working for me. I am getting approx 30-40 users per day from these two.

I'm new to IH, so I can't post links yet, but if you type my business into a search engine it should be near the top. Libertarian County.

Hey thanks for providing value to the community. Let me know what you think of https://freelanceintros.com

very interesting idea and a great website, how's it going so far?

      1. 1

building waitlist and gathering feedback signups before full launch. Are you a graphic design freelancer?

        1. 1

I am not unfortunately but if I was I would use your service for sure. I think its awesome that you are connecting people with warm leads. I've seen new startups come up where clients post jobs and freelancers can pick them up wonder if you want to implement such a thing

          1. 1

thanks for giving some 'validation' lol. Yeah job post boards are also great ways for freelancers to find gigs.

However, FreelanceIntros is primarily concerned with freelancer-2-freelancer relationships. It's an experiment to learn whether freelancers can help each other amass a long list of warm client leads so that they are never out of a gig.

Hi, still doing tweaks to it (not started other pages) and needs a logo but happy for initial thoughts on https://website-toolkit.co.uk

Hey - Can I give feedback on your landing page?

I just check the page and somehow I felt that the page is still a work-in-progress.

      1. The typography for the logo can be improved to improve readability.
      2. Empty top navigation bar makes it feel as if something is pending.
      3. Value proposition (advice from a seasoned indie hacker) was clear.
      4. Pricing range is not clear.
      5. Duration of the session is not clear.

Its a good beginning and I think you should be able to make it far better in the next 2-4 weeks. All the best.

      1. 1

Thanks so much for the feedback. I appreciate it. We are definitely still building on the beta version and the session pricing and charges will be updated soon - each expert can decide their fee/availability so it will be unique to each profile.

Hey - Can I give feedback on your landing page?

I just check the page and I loved it.

      Few suggestions

      1. Hero section copy is "Show your work and make more money". How about "New age portfolio to make you more money". I feel portfolio is a much more obvious work for your website than work.

      2. I want to see real portfolios. I couldn't find it easily. I had to go to the Discover menu and then somehow I was able to manage to go to a profile.

      3. I couldn't understand the reason for proof of ideas.

      4. The twitter images should be clickable so that I can verify for more trust.

      5. Pricing name "opportunity email" is not clear.

It's a great beginning and I think you should be able to make it far better in the upcoming time. All the best.
