DuckDuckGo is wrong to start censoring search results.

It's a bit disheartening to see they aren't showing sites that let you download videos form YouTube. YouTube is where I find most music and podcasts I like, then I download them as MP3 and throw it on my phone.
For a web browser that prides itself on its dedication to privacy, I don't think they should make decision on which searches to show vs. which to hide. While for now they think they are in the right, this could get out of hand quickly.
This action just shows me DDG isn't that different then GOOG.
First Russian content, now this? I don't use pirating sites and I obviously don't condone Russia's actions... but this is a slippery slope.
There's a reason I don't use Google. I guess it's time to find a new search engine.
Disagree. It's their responsibility to remove dangerous/illegal content from their results. And it's their right to do so.
I feel the same way, they are playing the western moral high ground game. They are just wannabes Google, that use the privacy blurb in a hope to appear different from Google, but the bigger they become the more similar they are.
"Dangerous" is a dangerously subjective term.
Malware can be pretty dangerous and is also pretty commonly found on pirate sites. 🤷♂️

There are more than 200 countries. Something which maybe illegal in your country are legal in other countries.
So where is the limit range they need to follow?
