Hey fellow hackers,
I'm looking for a tool to track customer funnels in my SaaS app. Of course I'm using Google Analytics, but I want to get just a little closer to the individual user. I've tried options like MixPanel and Woopra (and some others already mentioned in this post: https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/how-do-you-track-user-behavior-engagement-inside-of-your-saas-app-ab3f2cdd75), but they seem to lack the option of tracking emails I send from my platform.
It's especially those emails that I want to track: do they get people to visit my site, and do these folks become active users?
Any suggestions?
Have you looked into Amplitude for funnel tracking? They have an HTTP API you can use to track any events that can’t be emitted client-side. Not sure about email, but I’d imagine it’s possible.
