Earnest Capital publishes investment memo for backing 1,000s of entrepreneurs

I really want to see these indie hacker funding entities do well, because that would mean their investment thesis works:

Specifically we are betting that, even if we don’t back a single unicorn, we can see a low enough failure rate across our companies that we will generate a competitive risk-adjusted return for our investors.

And if that investment thesis works, it means we live in a world where lots and lots of indie hackers can and will succeed, and where the theoretical knowledge behind how to succeed may even become somewhat standardized and easier to share, at least for a time.

@csallen, What I would love to see is successful indie hackers / stripe acting as angels and investing directly through IH.com. If there is a stripe verified and google analytics product, and the product needs some capital boost + connections, people can angel invest and get a small pie via profit sharing. Kinda like https://republic.co/

May be since Stripe owns IH, they can do the profit sharing part or something. Just an idea.
