Easily automate custom domains and subdomains for your app with Approximated

Link: https://approximated.app

Hi there! If you have an app that needs to create and manage multiple custom domains or subdomains for your users, Approximated provides a very simple API to do that. You don't need to manage virtual hosts anymore!

Key benefits:

  • Approximated can provide one or more dedicated servers to route traffic through
  • Or it can connect to your server(s) if you have Caddy V2 installed
  • Approximated provides customized instructions for your users to point their DNS (just one A record)
  • All it takes is one API call (or use our web UI) to route a domain/subdomain to anything (IP address, URL, anything combined with a port)
  • Virtual hosts generated by Approximated can be exported in Nginx, Apache, and Caddy V2 formats, ready to go if you ever need it.

Use Cases:

  • Give your users their own unique subdomains or let them connect their own custom domain
  • Route to any containers with an exposed port on the fly as they're spun up
  • If you're a freelancer like me, you may have many virtual hosts you need to manage for clients. You can do it all in one place here!
