Easy personal expense management
Have you ever felt like you’re being careful with money…
and still have no idea where it actually goes?
I tried Excel sheets, formulas, categories — everything works for a few days.
Then you miss a couple of entries, stop updating it, and it’s over.
That frustration is what made me build https://receipto.io.
The idea is simple: take a photo of a receipt, let the system try to read it, and give you a basic monthly overview.
Emphasis on try 😄
A few honest notes:
Scanning works only for receipts issued in Serbia (for now)
It’s not perfect and will occasionally mess up
It’s a free weekend project, built out of personal need
If it helps you — great.
If not, totally fair, Excel didn’t help me either.
Any feedback (good or bad) is more than welcome.
