Easy Tiktok ideas to get free traffic to your website

I am an Indie Hacker turned content creator with 400k+ followers (IG+Tiktok) and have worked with a lot of tech companies/startups

Even if you don't go viral, you can still get more people to learn about your startup by posting quick little videos

As long as the content is about your user not you, you will be just fine! You’re here just to add value. Now, if you get like only 100 views, ~5 people might check out your profile and that’s 5 new people learning about your business for free!

Here are some ideas on how you can film content

**Getting chores done

Just record yourself doing anything. It could be as mundane as making your bed, setting up your desk, driving somewhere, picking up groceries, doing dishes, etc. I hope you get the idea haha
Then pick a sound matching the vibe and overlay a block of text on the video.

The text could be a TLDR of a blog post related to your niche, your personal story, or a news relevant to your industry. We will dive into generating content ideas next week :)

Here’s a video of Jason from OthersideAI just on his VR headset and he got like 500k views! ( 👋 Jason if you’re reading this)

This style works because people relate to the thing you’re doing. The authenticity it brings make viewers relate to you at a personal level :)

**When the beat drops!

Pick a 5-9 second sound with a beat drop every 1 second or so. Similar to text overlay videos, record yourself doing something and drop text at every beat.

If you’re feeling more comfortable, instead of doing a chore, you can also lip sync to the song or do a little dance because why not
This style of video is perfect if you want to lay out few points. New point for each beat drop :)

Here’s one of the videos I made using similar style.

**Talk to the camera

Talking to the camera can be a little intimidating for most people. But, it’s all in your head. We’ve all spent countless hours on Zoom calls so you already know what to do.
While talking to camera just think you’re in another zoom call, talking to a colleague!

An easy hack is to just turn the camera on and go for a drive, think about talking to the passenger and forget about the camera (as it also the safest thing to do)

This style works well if you want to share an idea with the world :)

Here’s one of my videos for reference. But you’ll see tons of people creating content from the car.
(If I record from my car, does anyone know if I can list it as a business expense lol)

I will be sharing more tips in my free weekly newsletter
