I looking to integrate the subscription payment model to my application. I went throw the Stripe dev docs to see how to build and integrate myself but I need a fast and easy way to manage this part.
Hey, I’ve been there—building subscription payments from scratch can get complicated fast. At Saaslogic (https://saaslogic.io/), we’ve found that using tools focused on subscription management saves a lot of time and hassle. Stripe’s docs are great, but having something that handles the billing side makes things way easier.
You can consider integrating with something like Outseta, MemberStack or Pabbly ... it should handle Stripe integration easier.
Outseta looks interesting, going to investigate. I know that one of the problems with this kind of product is the "stack pricing" is like paying for that service and then that service integrates with stripe or another and then I need to pay stripe too.
That is correct
I would use Upodi. You can read more about the subscription management tool here: https://upodi.com
Upodi seems cool - I actually really like what you've done. But you should put a disclaimer that you work there, it's very odd not to.
Hi I think you should try ReliaBills because it is a cloud-based platform proven to help small businesses get paid faster.
you mean this site?
https://www.reliabills.com/
You can see the payment solutions mentioned here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/would-you-use-paddle-chargebee-chargify-or-just-stripe-85830069b6
and see which payment solutions offer an API or even better a ready SDK client for your platform.
I would suggest not to underestimate the complexity of compliance with national laws around the world and go for a solution that is "merchant of record".
See a short-list I created here: https://www.starmessagesoftware.com/e-commerce-software-publishers
Platforms like 2checkout, paddle, cleverbridge, fastspring, give the complete service at a predictable all-inclusive % fee per sale. Very convenient.
I am also looking at this, let me know if you found a "least cost overhead" and easy-integration subscription payment stack, since paying core service like stripe is inevitable.
After researching a little bit I found Chargebee and Zoho Subscriptions. @kidino suggest Outseta, is very simple and gives you the first 25 users for free.
But Chargebee is a more rich subscription service, with self-hosted pricing-tables and flexibility. The prices of Chargebee are very high for me but they have a startup version where it gives you under 50K revenue for free, so you don't have a limit by the user.
Zoho Subscriptions is very appealing because has out of the box integrations with their finance products like books and invoices. They have a finance suit that comes with this all only for 140~(euros)
For me, Chargebee and Zoho give me more confidence in the long run. If I had the "cash" I would choose Zoho Finance because is a more complete set for a startup business.
So I am going to implement Chargebee for the complete feature set and the under 50K revenue-free plan
If you want more options, I have this list
Chargebee https://www.chargebee.com/
Zoho Subscription https://www.zoho.com/subscriptions/
FastSpring https://fastspring.com/solutions/selling-saas/
Zen License https://www.zenlicence.com/
Spreedly https://www.spreedly.com/
Recurly https://recurly.com/

Zuora https://www.zuora.com/
Fusebill https://www.fusebill.com/
PayWhirl https://app.paywhirl.com/
Rebilly https://www.rebilly.com/
Paddle https://paddle.com/
I put Outseta, Pabbly and MemberStack on a different list because their service, on top of payment also helps with the user management, authentication, etc.
Its like "Christmas" going to check it up, it is always good to know your options or have a little notion about want is on the market. Ty
Try https://payhere.co
I think the founder may even be on here
Thanks for the mention Kyle :)
Sorry for the late response, that's exactly why we created Payhere . If you are using React/Gatsby/Next.js we have a React SDK and I think it's one of the fastest ways to integrate payments!

Would welcome any feedback, thanks, Pete
It looks very simple and that's a good point. Thanks
Try Paddle. It offers subscription payments with little to no setup.
It gives a good quality vibe, going to investigate. Thanks
Hi Vitor,
Did you have a look at stripe checkout? It's relatively straight forward to setup
https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout
Yes, is an easy approach, I was looking at "Recurring payments with Checkout client-only integration" but this notice
"Stripe creates a new Customer object when the Checkout Session completes successfully. Passing the email address of a returning customer will result in the creation of a new Customer object with a duplicate email address. Consider using the Checkout client & server integration if you want to reuse existing Customers."
But Checkout client & server integration looks good to me is not hard to understand. I was curious to know if there was "an easier solution" like plug and play.
I found services like Chargebee and Recurly...
