Easy tool to sell ebooks?
I made a simple website for a client and they want to sell an ebook. Is there a tool I can point them to that handles the payments and delivering of the ebook? I just want to add a link or button on their website and have the tool manage it.

I see there's a monthly fee. Anything you know of that doesn't have a monthly fee but maybe charges for the transaction? I can't imagine the client selling much since she's just starting and doesn't have a following, but she'd like to have the option
You don't have to sign up for the monthly tier. You can just use the base tier (which takes 8.5%, but no monthly fee) until your sales are high enough to justify the $10/month.
thanks for pointing this out. This sounds like the solution. They really hide this on their website. I guess not many people are making the jump from free to paid?
Yeah, when I started, there was no monthly fee plan (and they only took 5% then IIRC). They were in heavy growth mode and are focusing on monetizing now.
If their website is WordPress, you could use WooCommerce which has a downloadable product option.
yea, this has been my normal track, but I want to avoid this for small clients. And being located in Europe with GDPR in effect, it would be nice to have the client handle data stuff outside the website.
