What are the “must have” emails in your onboarding/nurturing automation pipelines?
Like a welcome email, maybe an introductions email, etc...
What are the “easy” big wins in these automation emails for you?
#marketing
We have a 6 part onboarding email drip campaign for our software startup. This is designed for a free trial, but hopefully, it helps!
In all of these emails we push customer service above and beyond, which we've found is our #1 "win" for any new clients.
:)
Interesting.
Yours sounds like mostly an onboarding sequence. Being it's for the free trial, do you find this converts well?
Which email is the best received (stats wise)?
The conversion rate is low, so we're still fine-tuning this onboarding process. Besides this email drip, we're trying to add more in-app "helpers" since we feel that will be more powerful than email text conveying the same messages... while the emails have high open rates, it doesn't quite mean people are (actually) reading them. Lol.
The best email of the series is #4 - we found that many people struggle to "get started" so giving them examples really helped!
Super interesting! What service do you use for your drip campaign?
We use Mad Mimi! It's a simple email service but their customer service is phenomenal so we've really enjoyed working with them :).
I'd like to know this too!
We have a 12 email sequence
Care to expand further?
We started with four. Then added two. Now for retention, we added a few in-between, nurturing new users to aha moments.
What sorts of content is in these emails?
I think he meant about the title, content, the order, how it works, the result, etc ;)
