Editing is an underrated part of writing

Something we've noticed while building tools for writers:

People spend hours writing.

Then only a few minutes editing.

But editing is often where clarity improves the most.

A small reduction in unnecessary words can make an article much easier to read.

Curious how everyone here approaches editing.

Do you have a process, or do you mostly publish once the draft feels "good enough"?
