Hi folks, I made an app and #product-feedback-request.

Hi folks, I made an app and #product-feedback-request. Please let me know your thoughts:

https://mypages.app

As a programmer I am still learning how to be a maker haha. I wonder if anyone else can relate to that, or is it just me?

    Hi Ali,
Congratulations for the langing. Looks beautiful. Some comments:

    • The already mentioned "simplely" typo
    • On the first image below the hero: I don't get what's the role of those out-of-focus pages below the browser. Are they a page content, other pages? Don't get it.
    • The most important thing: you mention a lot of features to differentiate you from other similar products, but I've got a bit lost on them. You mention publishers and the follow feature. Is it like a feeder? That sounds interesting. But then you mention AI, and I really don't get what's AI role there. Also ads killer... Maybe you should focus on less features and explore more the benefits they can deliver.
      Cheers

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback :) I completely agree that the landing page is just a mess, thanks for pointing that out. I have users told me that it is so confusing what the app is for. In regards to your questions -

      • I will go through the typos again
      • It is getting focus, you are right, it is to show that you can use browser extensions to save Pages to the app from your computer but It is not clear at all.
      • I agree, This is not clear either, yes it a feed reader and read it later both at the same time. The AI is a big part of it as when you click to save any Page our AI goes through the page and extracts the text and images for clean readability. It does so much more such as, if you add a product you want to buy later, it will get the price, for videos it gets the links and views etc and so on.

I have been thinking about completely changing the landing page to make it easy for users to understand the purpose of this app.

      Highly appreciate your feedback

Looks good to me. Neat and clean. I typically save content to evernote. I can try this to see if this is something i can use.

Thank you for your feedback, I completely understand the concerns and I will think the same if I were you :) Trust in service is an important factor and to be honest while developing this app I was just thinking about one thing that is, there is a problem and I need to solve it and it will attract users automatically. As this is a feedback version (you can call it a test or open beta to get some feedback) and there is so much more coming to this app such as "Pages for work" which will also have a social-features - Rest ensure that the services will not be disconnected until I have at least 1 user (paying or non-paying) But the long term future of this app highly depends on what response we receive from users. Pocket, Instapaper, Pinterest, Feedly dominate market, there is a need for a better one and I fully trust that if we have users interested, "Pages" will be the only app user will like to use for work and for personal.
