Effortless stock inventory management software

Over the past few months, I've been talking to dozens of small business owners—retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and warehouse managers.

Surprisingly, most of them weren't looking for an expensive ERP.

They just wanted to answer simple questions like:

  • How much stock do I have right now?

  • Which items are running low?

  • Where is my inventory located?

  • Who supplied this product?

  • Why does my stock never match my spreadsheet?

Most businesses were still relying on Excel sheets, WhatsApp messages, handwritten notes, or disconnected software.

The result?

  • Frequent stockouts

  • Overstocking slow-moving items

  • Manual counting every week

  • Lost sales because inventory wasn't updated

  • Hours wasted trying to find the source of stock differences

That convinced me there was room for a much simpler solution.

So I started building InventorysHub.

The goal wasn't to compete with enterprise ERP systems.

The goal was to create software that someone could understand within minutes.

Today Inventoryshub helps businesses manage:

✅ Stock levels in real time

✅ Multiple warehouses

✅ Purchase orders

✅ Sales orders

✅ Suppliers

✅ Inventory reports

✅ Low-stock alerts

One thing I learned while building this is that simplicity is much harder than adding features.

Every time we added something new, we asked ourselves:

"Will this actually help a business owner today, or are we just making the software more complicated?"

That question has shaped almost every feature we've built.

We're still early, and there's a long roadmap ahead, but we're shipping improvements every week based on feedback from real users.

If you're running a business that struggles with inventory, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback on our Stock Management Software page:

I'm especially interested in hearing:

  • What's your biggest inventory headache?

  • Do you still use spreadsheets?

  • Which feature would save you the most time?

Building in public has been one of the best decisions I've made, and I'd love to learn from the Indie Hackers community.
