Hey everyone, we went to a soft launch today with https://tryelevator.com/personal to try to attract waiting list signups, it'd be great if anyone here could let us know what you think of the initial page & video?
Let me know!
Congrats on the soft launch @ok200paul!
Just a thought, but I think the landing page could benefit from a more descriptive header.
It wasn't immediately clear to me what connecting with companies meant. At first glance, I thought it was a user study/research marketplace.
Adding some clarity might help your audience understand your value prop. Something like this?
Thanks @TerranceKwok - thanks for the message. The idea is to remove recruiters from the equation (for companies that don’t want to use them) and allow companies to connect with people directly. But your message does indicate we need to sharpen ours! Thanks.
Ah got it. In Canada, we have "internal recruiters" that manage all hiring and are fully employed by the firm.
Hey Paul. The page looks pretty. I like the branding colors, logo and the domain name.
Hey @alexanderisora, thanks very much for this feedback. Really valuable. We’re looking into bonus mechanics for it, this is a great point. Thanks!
I agree that adding some copy to describe what's contained in the video (not a description of the video but some of the top points or features of the platform) but also because some people (like me) would rather scan a transcript of bullet point instead of watching a video)
I would also move the line" Get paid for companies to connect with you" to the top of the left side of the page above the video and increase the font to draw attention and as a CTA to click the video and watch.
I agree with that as well!
Nice - thanks @justjonps, we'll look at this

Thanks @Primer! This is a great point. I’ll work to get more text onto the landing page. Were you viewing on mobile by any chance?

That’s true, yeah - we’re trying to prove the product in the local market prior to quickly expanding.

Sweet - thanks.
