I really like your unique way of looking at things. I think as new founders, we can go into business expecting everything that we work on to be really fun and exciting when in reality more than 50% is going to be the annoying niggly weedy problems that no one likes. But that is the business. Understanding this and accepting, and even embracing this, as you've done, is what makes turning up every day a joy and not a burden.
"Working through the little challenges each day IS building the business."
Really needed to hear this. Am really struggling with so many small problems right now. You've made me look at the 'problems' completely differently. Thanks
Agreed.
If you don't enjoy the journey, I think you will hardly be able to reach the destination.
Then, destinations I believe, are always temporary and somehow you will continue the journey or embark in a new one.
I dropped out of highschool at 17 years old, I wouldn't say I am indie hacker yet, All I do is freelancing I am trying to pivot into this world, but what I would like to say is that through my journey from 0$ to 1k$ MRR I have faced a lot of problems I consider all of those problems challenges and I try to create the best of them to see an opportunity, your story is amazing to hear <3,
Keep going!
Thanks for renewing my perspective about problems. Right now, I'm challenged by problems as a new founder. Your story encourages me once again about problems, to see them as inevitable, to see them as normal, and to see them as something to be surmounted.
