Engagement Pods, are they ruining Twitter and Indie Hackers?
Do you ever see low-value and random comments on posts here and on Twitter? I often wonder if they're engagement pods.
What are engagement pods? An engagement pod is a group (or 'pod') of users who band together to help increase engagement on each other's content. This can be done through likes, comments, or follows.
There are definitely some low-value comments and posts, but I never actually realized there are people that spam together. I doubt it'll ruin IH, because there are a lot of people that will bring value with posts and comments.
