Despite running a company all about helping companies engage with employees and customers, I've got to be honest and say that I'm finding it really tough to know how and how actively to engage with our own staff and customers at this point.
I read that amazing article by Rand which @csallen posted yesterday. Link if you missed it. and also talked to a bunch of other business owners and our customers. The overriding feeling swings wildly from 'engage as much as possible' to 'give as much space as possible.'
I personally think that there's a nuanced approach which relates to some of what Rand was talking about around alignment to the issue.
But rather than leave it to anecdote, I thought I would do what I know best and ask questions of the communities I'm part of. To that end, I created a survey about people's attitudes to engaging during this tough time.
I would love it if you could take part and I'll share our findings with you ASAP. Here's a link to the survey
