💪 English native speakers needed! Quick language question from non-native
Since English is not my first language, I was surprised to hear recently that the word TACTIC has negative connotations in English. Please let me know if this is true if you are native English speakers. Our https://app.digitalfirst.ai platform is based entirely on "Marketing Tactics" and I wonder if I should change this name, as it will not mean a competent marketing strategy idea at all.
Very native English speaker. Doesn't read as negative here, sounds very practical, strong connotations of immediate short-term practical action!
In North America though, there may be an association with military/policy, not always in a positive way, very much audience-dependant. "Tactical gear" means weapons and associated paraphernalia. If in doubt, nothing wrong with "Marketing Techniques".

Oh God :( In my native language "tactic" means single tactical move for quick purpose. "Strategy" is a bunch of tactics for long-term goal. I understand that it's not the same in English?
