I absolutely must release premium subscriptions (and all the features that come with it) before the end of August. I've been dragging my feet on this for too long and I need to get it out to the world! :D

    1. 1

Let's do this! Will you be joining the daily stand up?

I'm gonna do a outreach to all organizers on australianskitrips.com
After that let's see what happens to this little experiment.

    1. 1

      What's the outreach?

      1. 2

Oh I'll be sending emails to everyone who's trips I've collected and ask them:

        • If the data is alright
        • Would they like to change the trip details
        • Would they would be willing to give a shoutout on social media

    Hello, old friends :)

Might give this another attempt for the 100th time...

    ------

By the end of August, I'll have launched 'early access' for the evergreen version of my SalesForFounders.com course

    EPIC:

Launch 'early access' version of course. Generate >$20k in prelaunch revenue.

    *BREAKDOWN:

Week 1: Redo landing page, record testimonial videos/welcome video, write funnel emails
Week 2: Set up either free webinars or free video course
    Week 3: Redo course content
Week 4: Redo course content and launch

    1. 2

Hello, @louisswiss! Looking forward to sharing evergreen tactics and critiques! Let's do this!

  5. 3

By end of August, I'll have proven whether my online course was a one hit wonder or a source for recurring revenue.

    EPIC
Launch evergreen course and sales funnel, earning 5K in revenues.

    BREAKDOWN

    Week 1: Complete scripts.
Week 2: Complete filming and email funnels.
    Week 3: Complete website.
Week 4: Launch and respond to queries.

  6. 2

My goal is still to validate an idea & commit, but I view that as an ongoing background (but priority) process. I think for August I'd like to measure something quantifiable which will also be vital in achieving my main goal.

That's why my EPIC is: Go from 0 subscribers to 50 for aadhi.rocks.

To achieve that goal, I'm probably going to have to execute on the following:

    • Build infrastructure to handle welcome emails, weekly update emails, etc.
    • Continue to put out quality content (ties in nicely with market / customer research)
    • Promote the hell out of that content and level up my SEO & marketing skills

My hope is that by building an audience and continuing to explore areas that interest me, I'll naturally be exposed to more situations that will spark potential business ideas organically.

P.S. I reserve the right to pivot on this, if the idea comes sooner rather than later :)

Didn't quite hit my July EPIC, but I don't think it risks my OKR items for the quarter. As I haven't launched, the only suitable OKR has to be MVP completion and getting the product into the market. I'm a few days out from MVP completion, so I'm okay with that EPIC slipping to early August. The bulk of August will be dedicated to reaching out to developers in my network.

    AUGUST EPIC

    • Launch MVP and get into direct marketing mode: demonstrated by emails/DMs/messages/calls with 200 people.

Goals for Quarter: 1.) launch MVP, 300 direct connections, 40 subs (trials count but won't be available until September)

    1. 1

Didn't quite hit mine either... but it all counts toward the launch at this month! Let's each other to it!

      1. 2

life gets in the way sometimes, I'm game for an accountability partner

  8. 2

By the end of August, NTN will have the appropriate amount of polish to start driving traffic to it. My first baby is due in August so if I end up a little behind I'll forgive myself (this time!). I'm getting close, so September 1 I'm just roll with whatever I've got.

    EPIC

    Reach MVP

    BREAKDOWN

Week 1: Tools week - I've got several additional tools in mind, I'm going to try to get at least two of them completed by the 8th. I'm also going to be fixing a couple of issues I've noticed with the current tools. I'll also add client side input validation, I'm only doing server side validation right now.

Week 2: Writing Week: Troubleshooting flow-chart and/or checklist, a couple of articles for the notes section

Week 3: Do some basic SEO, keywords, sitemaps, etc. More tools work or writing as time allows.

Week 4: Finalize the look and feel of the website, any design changes should be minor at this point. Explore some of the paid ideas I've been kicking around.

    1. 2

Love this breakdown! Will you be joining us in the daily stand up?

      1. 2

Yes, that's exactly the sort of accountability I need!
