Especially for those with kids, please review our landing page!

https://www.getgilly.com

Launched an updated landing page + iteration of our product this week!

Our primary target customers are parents with kids, with the youngest child being below the age of 6. We're finding that our product has become even more relevant as parents struggle with lockdown / pandemic stress and Gilly can really help!

I would love your thoughts on:

  • Is it clear what our product is about?
  • Should we replace the first section that is focused more on problem with something that's more focused on the benefits couples get? (we plan to A/B test this)
  • Are there ways we can make the free trial sign up more enticing / flow better?
Please don't hold back on your feedback :)

If you know any couples with kids and think they can benefit from trying Gilly, please do share our website with them

Thank you!

Feedback as a video on my YouTube channel

    • I liked that you started with the problem and showed some data immediately, speaking the language of your audience and highlighting their issues.
    • Highlight the real features: Tell me more about the real product rather than the platform (couple advice delivered as a message): What are these tips going to look like? How are they going to be tracked? How can I see the progress?
    • Rearranging some of the information on the page so that it's more effective will definitely help as you scroll through the page
    • You're already using the Z-pattern for laying down information effectively - that's great but now use images that are more powerful to enrich my curiosity and understanding of the features!

@orliesaurus wow, I did not expect a video!!! Lots to go through here... thank you so much :) Will report back!

I'm in your target market. I think the landing page is clear and well done! I like the journey you take me on from the 70% stat (can relate) to date nights getting cancelled (can relate) to all conversations being about the kids and chores (also can relate).

So, for me you nailed the problem on the head. I wasn't quite convinced though that you have the solution.

I'm trying to get specific about where the blocker is for me. I think it's in worrying that this would be just another "to do" on my list. I don't need another project. What's the impetus for signing up? What pushes someone over the edge to be willing to have another "to do" to fix this? I'm not sure.

Maybe you could offer a sample right on the landing page? That might help me get over the hump of whether it's worth signing up.

    Hope that helps.

@alexisgrant we've made updates (www.getgilly.com)! Now you can try a sample treat without sign up for anything :) We've also offered a few more free treats if people share their email with us — I figure we can then share more details and information to help people feel more at ease before committing to a free trial. Thanks again for the feedback!

@alexisgrant Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! Totally get the concern re: to do on your list... some of our users had similar concerns before starting (like, "is this going to be another thing I fail at... like the peloton challenges") We can definitely help alleviate this concern more!

Re: sample — that is a great idea. We're brainstorming how to do that now... will report back with updates!!

      Thank you again :)

Congrats on the launch. Parent here. Interesting concept.

It's a solid landing page. Concept and headline is clear although the accompanying image doesn't add any other relevant information for me. Maybe that could be better. A video would be great here to make me feel more comfortable with that I'd be getting into.

The middle section after the headline lost me a bit but the How it works is much more clear to me.

For someone like me, my main obstacle to signing up is just my overall sensitivity with intimacy. How could you make me feel more comfortable sharing and exposing that part of my life with a product?

Idea💡 - A Share this with your Spouse link. I could really sharing this via text/email as a conversation starter with my wife. If she liked it enough, we could try it. Or if she found and shared it with me it would give me more incentive to try it.

    Good luck!

@gushiguera Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback! Question — for the "share this with your spouse" link... can you be a bit more specific about that? Like a button or CTA where when clicked, it would automatically open a prewritten text / whatsapp / email that includes the link of our website?

Re: helping you feel comfortable sharing with a product (totally understandable concern!), what would help? Is it around security of your data? Or more transparency about how data is handled? Or is it something else completely?

Thank you again — I really appreciate this!

For the share link, a CTA marked share with spouse that does what you said, just auto-fills a message to the social/destination of choice would be nice. I would run an A/B test to see if the performs better than a generic share link.

The security call out for data would be great! Also maybe testimonials with pictures of real people who have used the app would help me make a more human connection to the subject.

For example, the pictures of your team definitely help me see this is an app made by people who are passionate about the subject.

        Just thoughts, good luck!

@gushiguera we've added the Share with your partner CTA! And also a sample treat to try. Still working on copy for the security part and photos of our real couples will be a bit more challenging (it's a sensitive topic and not sure how couples would feel... we're going to ask though!)

Very cool, I hope it helps!
