Hello fellow IndieHackers!
Too many times I struggled to find good services, APIs or other tools that I wanted to use in my own projects or those of my clients and that were developed in a specific EU country or at least in the EU / Europe.
I wanted to simplify the research phase for these tools and collect a list of APIs, tools, startups & more developed in Europe / EU,.
So if any of you is working on tools, APIs etc from Europe, please add it to the list. Also feel free to add any tool that you know of, even if you are not affiliated with it.
Developed in Europe: https://www.developedin.eu
Thank you in advance for the help!
I know that probably many relevant categories are missing, so please let me know what I should add.
And please try to tag accordingly and be honest about the "negative" stuff when adding a tool.
Keep in mind that this is not even an MVP, as I don't consider it a product. If you have ideas on how to improve it, i am happy to hear your feedback.
For this project, I finally got over myself and instead of developing it from scratch, I used softr.io
I found softr here on IH and had a chat with them. They are kindly supporting this project with a free upgrade.
This is not a promotional post, but please check them out because they have really built something cool there.
Thanks for any feedback, ideas and help with this.
Cheers,
x
Cool idea!
I've just added my company AudienceScout, based in Italy :)
Looking forward to seeing the list grow!
Thank you. AudienceScout looks cool, approved!
Great, thanks!
It thinks that's quite a nice platform, but you should really look for some kind of protection. I would like to add our Project Dynamic QR because we are located in Germany and try to use tools like plausible to avoid massive data-collection.
If it is possible, you should add something tool like Friendly Captcha (found it on the list :D). The best thing of course would some kind of small review of each submitted tool, but that means a lot more work. I would like to offer support with reviews.
You should use the logo (without the text) as favicon
Thank you Niecke!
I just added the favicon, totally forgot that.
I did implement some protection for now, which requires manual review. But currently, there is not much going on. As soon as there is more, I will contact you again. I would love help with this.
And: Dynamic QR looks cool, so please add it to the list! Maybe you have more valuable feedback, after trying to add it. Also it would be the first addition after my very high-tech AI machine-learning based algorithmic two-factor verification and approval process aka copy & paste from one table to another, if it looks alright.
So please go ahead!
Added Dynamic QR and waiting for approval :)
I think the Visit Site Buttons are broken. They all redirect to "https://www.developedin.eu/Button Value".
Approved!
And thanks for noticing. This is my first no-code project, so i am not totally in control yet…
Have you thought about listing this on Product Hunt?
Just briefly.
I was hoping to get a few more IndieHackers from Europe interested on here first. But that didn‘t work really well so far…
It is probably a good idea to launch on PH, though i would like to have a way better version of the site before that.
I did setup a discord (i am the one & only member so far).
It‘s not supposed to be about this project alone, but rather i imagine some kind of community for all IH from europe. I would love to have a better connected startup „IH“ scene in europe one day.
If you care to join & exchange ideas, let me know.
Thanks for making this! I've just added Pirsch Analytics :)
You don't seem to have a verification step? Might be bad if someone puts something harmful onto the list. I would suggest manually approving submissions.
Also, svg seems to be supported, but is resulting in a very low-res png.
Thank you for the feedback.
And about the verification step: yes, currently that's missing. I thought as long as I only post it to IH for now, I wouldn't have to worry about that.
Also: I was looking for pirsch as I have seen it before but couldn't remember the name. So thank you for adding it to the list!
