Evaluation Help

Hello IH,

I posted about an idea (that solves very specific use case) on reddit to evaluate if it works or not.

I got around 70 votes out of which 28 in favour Of it and the rest against it.

  1. Most of them who said no, was there is a product already available.
  2. Doubtful of PI data and the way app will handle.

The rest who Voted yes because

  1. They were looking for similar application
2.because most of the existing application were over kill for their simple use case
  2. The existing apps were expensive.

If you were me will you go ahead and invest ( myself a dev , so I need only to invest in infra/ cloud etc)?

I am confused please help.

A poll is a sign that you may be heading in the right direction, though I wouldn't rate it as one that is high on the list to rely on.

I think you need to do more product validation, reach out to people, get more info.

This is a good podcast to listen to (as is The Mom Test book) - https://www.indiehackers.com/podcast/154-rob-fitzpatrick-of-the-mom-test
