Events on a map

Hi all! I'm Joe, founder of weTabletop.com. We help players find local tabletop, card, and board game events.

I'm trying to figure out the most effective way of displaying upcoming events on a map. In summary, is it worth it to render all 100,000+ events on a map, clustered? Or is it a better experience to only show the 15 events from the list on the map?

Diving in, is showing that many events worth it to anyone? Or would it be better to surface more relevant events first and show those? Or, should I remove the map entirely if they haven't added a location?
