Ever sponsored a podcast?

I'm looking to become a sponsor on a podcast for one of my projects I'm involved in. Looking for a podcast audience of small to medium sized e-com or SaaS owners.

Anyone have experience in doing this?

If so, how long were you a sponsor? Were you able to measure the results?

Any tips on finding the right podcasts and negotiating rates?

I have been trying to sponsor a podcast for my startup studio. I contacted few podcasts with startup founders as audiences. Their rates were 3-4 times more if I compare CPC ads. So still looking

I earmarked $1k to spend on podcast ads for my course: Better Sheets. Had a broad yet specific audience of small businesses and founders. I applied to 3 different podcast sponsor marketplaces all had $2.5k and up lower limits to spend.

Interesting. I get that many would have a minimum budget and prefer a longer term sponsor. Something like podcast advertising probably has the most value if it happens over a period of 3-6+ months.
