Ever thought about starting a startup — but never actually did it?

I’ve been in the startup world for over 20 years. But I still remember what it felt like at the very beginning.

I didn’t know the industry. I didn’t know if I’d ever have a good enough idea — or how to test it if I did. I had no idea how to develop a product, how to talk to investors, or how to raise money. I just felt lost. And honestly, a little scared.

That feeling never really gets talked about. But it’s where almost everyone starts.

Looking back, what I needed wasn’t more information. I needed a structured place to try — safely, without risking everything — with the right tools and people around me.

So after 20 years on the other side of the table, I built that place.

Many great startups never get built because people wait for the perfect moment.
Starting small, talking to potential users, and learning through action often beats endless planning.

What do you think is the biggest reason people hesitate to take that first step?

I believe people hesitate because of the risk, or because they're afraid to leave their comfort zone. While starting a small business is more straightforward, there are many unknown factors that determine a startup's success.
