Every "free" launch directory I budgeted for now charges

I spent a week opening submit pages for 40+ launch directories one by one, instead of trusting the listicles. Most of the ones people still recommend have changed their terms.

Toolfolio removed the free listing, $99. StartupRanking still lists you for free but moved the dofollow link behind Premium, $99. DevHunt has no free option at all, $49. TAAFT charges $49. MicroLaunch takes $39 to skip the queue.

A few are still genuinely free and worth the ten minutes: Crozdesk, AlternativeTo, Launching Next (long queue, but the link is permanent), and Startup Fame's Verified tier.

If you are planning a launch off a blog post from 2023, check every submit page yourself. The prices moved.
