Everyone is critiquing landing pages, but what about your pitch deck?

I see that a lot of indie hackers are offering really insightful and awesome reviews of peoples landing pages, but I have no idea where I could get some fresh eyes on my pitch deck.

A pitch deck can almost double as your investor landing page - it often gets into the nitty-gritty of your business and the market you're trying to target.

A fresh pair of eyes on a pitch deck can really help you realize your missing important information on your tech, workflow, or revenue model.

Is there any form or page dedicated to pitch deck reviews?

A Landing Page is the new Pitch Deck.

I think part of this is that Pitch Decks are so subjective so opinions can make you go CRAZY! At my last startup, I built my first deck by using YC's tips on their page. Then I presented to a group of mentors that had all sold businesses before and they told me I didn't have enough info and to add all this stuff. Next, I presented to a VC investor and they told me a whole set of new criteria.

Point is to focus on getting customers. You do that and any investor will be excited by traction.

The reason investors talk about a good pitch deck is because it's so, so rare for a pitch deck to be useful in any way.

Don't waste your time on it. Go talk to customers and make some sales.

Tons of companies do it. They also build them for you.

I don't know any but it is a trap many founders fall into after listening to this week in startups.

FWIW, there are a lot of collections of successful pitch decks on Product Hunt, and there are definitely some common elements by funding stage.

I found it helpful to just take an hour and read a bunch of them. Let your own creativity take it from there.
