Here's how to do it. In 5 steps (and 15 minutes):
- Take 15 minutes
- Ask yourself "what would my goals be if I couldn't fail?"
- Brain-dump your ideas
- Pick the top 5
- Re-write them using the MSTW (Measurable Specific Time-Bound) model
- Reverse engineer those goals. Break them down into actionable steps you need to take on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis. Research what you don’t know. Use a hunch where you can. But make sure the steps are achievable with your current schedule (I.e., don’t put “read 50 pages a day” if you barely have time to read 10… or opt for the audiobook instead).
