Everyone wants a 'blast everyone' button. I'm never building it.

The single most-requested feature for LeadSynth is a button that blasts one message to 500 people at once.

It's also the one thing I've decided I'll never build.

Here's the counterintuitive part — building it is exactly what would kill the product.

The reason LeadSynth gets a 20.6% reply rate on Reddit while cold email sits near 1% is that it does the opposite of blast. It waits for someone to describe the problem in public, then replies once, in your voice, at human pace. 686 accounts, 27,178 conversations, 0 spam complaints — and that last number only exists because there is no blast button.

Add the button and every one of those numbers inverts. Reply rate craters. Spam complaints show up. The thing that made it work becomes the thing people get banned for. I'd just be selling a faster way to get ignored.

So now I run every feature request through one filter — it's settled more roadmap arguments than any tool ever did:

Does this make the core promise stronger, or just louder?

"Louder" requests feel amazing. More volume, more sends, more output — they sound like growth. But they almost always trade away the one thing that made the product different in the first place. Most requests aren't asking you to be better. They're quietly asking you to become the tool they already churned from.

The hard part was never knowing this. It's saying no to a paying user, nicely, in the moment. I've only gotten okay at it by reframing the no — I'm not refusing them, I'm protecting the result they actually showed up for.
