I fell for a very stupid tourist trap once while I had a layover in Beijing. I had to block my credit card, and I'd left all my cash in the airport, so I was stuck in the middle of the city without money. I only needed a few bucks to get back to the airport, nothing big, but I didn't have it. I asked other tourists for help but it was a Chinese guy who helped me in the end. He turned something bad into something positive. When I got the money back from my bank, I gave it to orphans because whenever something bad turns good, I try to help people in need.
