Examples of profitable businesses built with no code?. Let's Inspire each other, build and launch :).

Can we share examples of businesses built on no code, how long it took and is it profitable?.
I think this would help inspired people to create their products :).

I build projects regularly for clients using Bubble. An MVP can be built over a weekend and bring in some revenue, but I find that most "products" that meet a minimum standard of polish generally take 1-2 months of time to build, polish and launch -- and after launch you're never actually done :)

Profitability is only one measure of success but more typical of later stage products. Idea validation, getting traction, receiving feedback are often more realistic and practical initial goals.

My first no-code product is a tool to streamline operations at recycling centers -- I built in a couple weeks and it generates ~$450/mo and I hardly ever have to touch it.

It's always refreshing to hear when people build businesses with no-code tools, and actually sell services to someone outside of no-code community. (Sounds like an echo chamber around here sometimes). Mind sharing how you got your customers?

Customer development and relationship building is often the hard part that builders skip. I went out and found some individuals in an industry who knew things could be different but didn't know how to build and launch a product. We collaborated and did a beta product together, then after 6 months I had some good rapport built up so getting introductions to other potential customers was very natural. Doing this takes time but is worth it as you really get to understand your customer.

That's actually clever. Leveraging your skills and team up with people with experiences. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your success!

My nocode sites are profitable.. but as you'll see... not more than dozens of dollars profitable. Ramen profitable.

Spent $8.99 for the domain, made $50 revenue: NoCodeBlackFriday.com
Spent $8.99 for the domain, made $30 revenue: Bettersheets.co

Thanks for sharing your experience. No code is really hard to get right, as there are a ton of free tools and people are generally afraid to pay a ton of money.

I am very impressed at the success of Carrd.com though. Really well executed on a simple idea.

lol no offense, but just because your two project barley made profit, doesn't mean all of no code is unprofitable. haha ideas make money, not the project itself

No offense taken. I don't extrapolate my experience to the entire industry. The first word in my comment is "My"

I will point out that my no code projects are profitable.

I wanted to show there are different degrees of profitablity. It is easy to get discouraged when comparing to the best in class.

If I give even one person the drive or motivation to keep going... it is worth it.

Hopefully someone says, "I can do better" and then goes out and does do better!

OP was not asking for successful, sustainable, outlandishly profitable businesses.

Congrats! I saw you have affiliate links, do you have any other source of revenue to reach $1000/m?

      1. 2

        Thanks! Yes, lots, haha

Sponsored blog posts, newsletter sales etc

        1. 1

Amazing! Would it be indiscreet to ask what % each one represents? Curious to see if affiliate links are enough

          1. 2

hey, I generally don't give a specific breakdown but I don't mind you asking :)

Affiliate was about 25% of my income last month. I wouldn't rely on it as it can be extremely variable! Some months I've made $50, others I've made $400 from affiliates so it's better to treat it as an added bonus rather than anything else.

            1. 1

Gotcha! What do you consider to be your reliable income source then?

Nocodify.com is built with no code (using bubble). Very profitable.

Took about 2 months to build the core concepts and layouts, but I'm always adding new content and features (pretty much daily since it's so easy with no-code!).

      Congratulations! Keep it coming :)

    I built FinSharing.com using Commun.
I didn't have to write a single line of code for the backend and I made the frontend myself. It's a profitable project.

just saw a demo and considering the use of documate.org. they market themselves as a no-code document generator/automation software that is super clean and easy.

are you working on something in the no-code space? your profile says you're working on some online businesses, so would love to hear your experience with no-code.

there is a fellow here in the IH group named Andrew Pierno (can't remember his tag) but has a no-code platform. sorry -.-

Guess bubble's portfolio, but I personally don't know anyone who built a no code app beyond prototype level.
