Hello hackers, I have been working on this product for 1 and a half year and experienced a ton of delays, still sitting on tons of unreleased tech but finally we are ready to launch for the first time.
Please be kind. Here's the website.
I'm not a native English speaker so I am most worried about any jarring sentences that I couldn't detect. I also worry that people might not pick up right away what this product does.
Thanks for taking the time and give feedback!
I really like to idea, since I work with data and git all the time.
Ladning page: I find there is too much whitespace with a little of content, so the scrolling feels like I scrolled a lot but did find almost no information.
What I would be interested as a potential customer:
Good luck! :-)
Thanks for very constructive feedback. Glad you figured out what it does. This software is very novel and is very much toy-like in term of application at the moment so I don't got lots of example to share right now. But we will be able to share as we get more users and when we launch our next product. There are a whole suite of unreleased products waiting to see the light of the day. :)
Also it doesn't really do any sort of data manipulation it just do CSV diff really well and you won't have to learn anything new if you are just using the web app. If you integrate you have to do a bit of reading but I would say it's reasonable. Again, thank you for the feedback.
Good job getting this far. Yes there are some typos in the landing page, I found one immediately but don't let that stop from launching.
Here it is:
but in everyday English you would say
Have you considered creating your product in your own language first so that you can get the "sentences" right and then pay someone to translate it?
It's always easier to explain things in your own language first...and then just translating them and correcting typos.
Thanks you! Well I am bootstrap so I'm very averse to paying someone but then yeah, I produce weird sentences like this one. I hope that I will be able to correct these typos as I get more eyes on the product, not because I disrespect the customers of course.
