Exciting Opportunity for a front end tech person to join a startup as Tech/CTO Co-founder

Story Antics is an exciting new startup helping people create unique personalised children’s books. Story Antics was founded in July 2019 as part of the Antler incubator by Lara Solomon. I have a track record as a successful entrepreneur who makes things happen. Since Story Antics started I pitched for $100k in investment with a tech cofounder which I got, but unfortunately working with the tech cofounder didn’t work out and the funding was lost. Now I’m looking for a tech cofounder to help me build this exciting new business.
Story Antics is a site that will help people create a book – they get to choose the story, choose the characters, change the text, write a dedication page and either save the book as an ebook to read later or get a copy of the book printed and sent.
The goal is to build an MVP to launch in Oct/Nov then at the start of 2020 recruit a tech team which you will lead to build the product out.
Skills Needed

• React/view Developer
• Familiar with HTML canvas
• A history of delivering single page apps
• Experience with Sagas, react-router, HMTL, CSS, Javascript
  Ideally you will have
• Portfolio on Github
• An interest in children’s books (we like to read a book a day)
• A passion to grow a startup
• Willingness to do what is takes to get the business going
• Willingness to learn – we can outsource the backend but at the same time
  I am looking for someone who wants to work with me growing Story Antics into a $100m business, not just sit in the corner and code 😊
  Office
  Based in Sydney at Tank Stream Labs co-working space at Wynyard. There is no option initially to work remotely (overseas), I feel that we need to be hanging out together in the same room to be able to move quickly.
  Remuneration
  Initially the salary will be very low (to set expectations) and equity will be offered on a vesting plan over 4 years. Once Story Antics starts making money salaries will be increased. I'm looking for someone to come on full time for 2 weeks without pay as a trial period. After this time, we can discuss employment options and hopefully secure funding
