Hello Friends π
Stefan here, from the Expandi team π€
Today, on this sunny Wednesday (at least here in the Netherlands π³π±)
I want to share with all of you everything about our Expandi Journey,
No BS, no self-promotion, just a honest story, straight from me as a founder. π
Just to inspire and help you achieve the same πͺ
Last January we closed our first year with Expandi (to be super accurate 14 months), since we launched on a global market.
And during this road weβve reached $4mln in ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) with no VC funding!
Yes, the best part β we did all of that without raising a single $ or β¬ from venture investors.
I still donβt believe in these numbers, but itβs truth:
β± 14 months
π° $4mln ARR
π
ΎοΈ 0 VC funding β¨
Itβs an amazing road with of course our own failures, success moves and main learnings.
And I want to share everything with you today.
When I say βeverythingβ I mean βEVERYTHINGβ.
Why do I share it in public?
Iβd be super happy to read this a year ago and probably it could help us to reach $10 mln instead of $4 mln ARR π
If you learn something along the way and find useful things that you can apply to your own story in the making β all the better. π
Hey @Stefan_S
Thanks for sharing this.
Founder of GigRadar.io here β work marketplace demand aggregator. We serve some of the biggest agencies on Upwork at the moment and looking to scale.
Iβm walking on the edge between tempting VC offers and my independency ideals. How should I go about it?
Would be interested to connect for advising / experience exchange. HMU
Hey Stefan!
Amazing results, I'm flattered!
I'm a founder of a similar tool, but for Reddit - it's called Howitzer.co and we are just starting.
Hopefully we'll get at least 1/5th of your success!
I have a question for you.
Is Expandi.io 100% ok with LinkedIn guidelines and ToS?
If not, did you encounter any (legal) problems with LinkedIn?
How do you pitch it/explain it to the users who think that this is spam tool, or are concerned about the 'legal' aspect of this tool?
Thanks, and wish you good lucj!
