Experience hiring remote contractors from NG,BD,IN,PK?

We are looking to expand our team (jobs page).

We are getting a lot of applications from aboard with focus on Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria .. . Since Corona we are remote first, in Berlin Germany finding talented people is really hard. So we consider a remote co-worker. This is not a project based outsourcing, but integration in the team.

• Has someone experience integrating remote colleagues, from a cultural perspective?
• Are there standard contracts?
• What is a fair compensation?
• Anything I might miss here?
