Experienced CEO offering mentorship and support

I was the CEO for many years of two software startups. Which means:

  • Growing a startup (product roadmap, building a team, becoming profitable)
  • Delivering to highly regulated environments, mostly multinationals
  • Identifying and closing deals between 20K and 400K
  • Remaining self-funded

My beliefs

  • Growing a self-funded startup forces you to focus on profitability early on.
  • Being self-funded means you make all decisions.
  • Software and software licenses are the best industry sectors to build companies.

I am keen to support startups needing help setting up product roadmaps, growing a team, and mastering enterprise sales.

    Good morning,

I am developing a digital menu for bars and restaurants where customers can pay the bill from the smartphone.

    Struggling to sell it.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Hey Greg here founder of Cloudbuddies.

I'm currently working on a cloud self service platform that allows seamless and easy deployments In the cloud(s). I managed most of the tech side, platform is up and running, under https://cloudbuddies.io

I struggle to promote and market the solution and nearly everything you mentioned in your post. Interested to have a chat ?

interesting only if you are offering to actually do the sales yourself, using your connections and experience.

Of course, but don't overestimate the value of a network. It's mind-blowing how fast it ages even within the same company. People change roles, get promoted, or leave. Companies themselves change direction and strategy all the time.
It would be best if you got out there where the prospects are, get yourself involved with the industry sector, publish helpful content and offer services.

happy to collaborate with people who know what they are doing, but not in the market for advice at the moment, prefer help in the form of a person doing the sales/marketing tasks.
If you really want to get involved in a startup, my contacts are in my profile, the project is property & facilities management.

          Hi Nikolay,
I am not looking for a S&M position at the moment.
Best of luck with your startup.
          Kind regards
