Experienced dev looking to team up (salary + equity)
Hi,
I'm a full stack developer with software engineering degree and 9 years of experience. Throughout my career I've worked for variety of companies, from startups to corporations. The last 3 years as a freelancer allowed me to transform into a very versatile engineer because as a one man band I had to do all of the aspects of development and far beyond just coding. I've single handedly built complex fully fledged custom data systems for my clients and as my previous startup attempts.
I'm at the point where because of my current situation I'll have to get back to working full time but I'd much rather get involved with a startup. I'm looking for one that would be interested in a salary + equity arrangement, with the salary being 1200 USD monthly.
My stack is MEAN with Docker, GitLab and Digital Ocean but I also know other languages and technologies plus I love a challenge and love learning new tecnologies.
Hi Jake, I am in preliminary stages of an idea. Getting UX/UI drawings soon. I'm considering paying someone on upwork for dev but it would be good to have a long term partner. Don't undervalue yourself. You're worth that per week at least, even with equity!
You are right. I am underselling myself massively but the idea is that with the salary this low I'd get a decent chunk of the company which is only fair I think. Otherwise the salary / equity ratio would have to be different
