Experienced developer looking for cofounder + idea
Hey everyone,
This is my first post on IH although I've been lurking for a while.
I guess I'll start by introducing myself: my name's George and I'm a software developer with about 7 years' professional experience. At the moment I'm working as a coder here in London. In the past I was CTO of a failed startup, and I'm pretty eager to escape my day job and have another crack at self-employment.
It's time to start my own venture, but it's still early days. Right now I'm in the idea exploration stage. I could go down the solopreneur route, but I've also got an ear open for potential partnership opportunities. I want to get better at sales, marketing and bizdev, but at the end of the day I'll always be better positioned as "the tech guy" and I'm sure there's an experienced non-techie out there with whom I'd make the perfect pair... especially if that person already has a killer business idea they need developed.

(Just to quickly follow up with some specifics about my technical experience: my main tech stack these days is Elixir + Phoenix for web dev, but I'm also fluent in node.js. On the mobile side my main experience is with React Native. I have some experience with Flutter too and would be keen to get more of it.
I used to do a lot of work with Ruby on Rails but I'm not really interested in it anymore, although I could be persuaded to dust off my Rails skills for the right project.)
Are you primarily a backend developer or do you have frontend experience with reactjs?
