Experienced founder looking for technical co-founder for calm SaaS

I have 14 years of entrepreneurship experience as a founder and CEO. I spent the last decade scaling businesses in the music industry and had my first exits. After some angel investing, I realised I wanted to build something again. I spent the past 2 years learning to code and launched SvelteJobs.com (a Svelte job site) as my first commercial project. Next I want to build a calm B2B SaaS.

I'm an experienced operator, leader, marketeer and sales person. Strong in finance and legal. I have bought and sold multiple businesses. And now have 2 years of Javascript development experience.

While I am well-rounded in terms of skillset, I want to ship quicker and accelerate my technical learning by partnering with a technical co-founder who is eager to get in the weeds. I am looking for someone who is a medior to senior Typescript developer and can work in the EU timezone.

My most prominent idea is a document management SaaS to help SMEs manage their contractual obligations, reminders and software spend. The MVP is well underway. Stack is Svelte, SvelteKit, Typescript, TRPC, Tanstack Query, Postgres. I am working on this project full-time.

I have other ideas too. Above all, I'm looking for a partner to build a meaningful bootstrapped business with.

Interested? Contact me on X or mail me.

Hey Budi — the "calm SaaS" philosophy is refreshing. Document management for SMEs (contracts, reminders, software spend tracking) is a real pain point that most tools either overcomplicate or ignore entirely.

Your operator background is strong — exits, angel investing, and now building full-time with a working MVP. That's rare.

We run a dev studio that ships MVPs and accelerates early-stage SaaS products. We work with TypeScript, Postgres, and modern stacks daily. If you're still looking for technical acceleration — whether as a co-founder conversation or a paid sprint to ship faster — I'd be interested to hear where the MVP stands now and what the next milestone looks like.

DM me here if you're open to chatting.

    Hey Budi
Your background is impressive and I like the "calm SaaS" approach. Contract management for SMEs is a real pain point.
I'm a full stack dev running a trading automation company from Dubai. I work with Python/Flask primarily but can work across stacks. Your Svelte setup sounds clean.
Question: What does "ship quicker" mean to you right now? Are there specific features blocking launch or is it more about velocity in general?
Also, are you open to a hybrid arrangement or purely equity based?

Love your energy, track record, and the calm SaaS focus — refreshing to see someone with real exits still in the trenches building. I’m on a similar path (vertical AI SaaS, early but high conviction) and get the grind of going full-time pre-traction. Would be great to connect and trade notes — if nothing else, sharp minds always sharpen each other.

Amazing skillsets, congrats. Did you find a cofounder?

No I've decided to hire help instead.

Hello Budi, just in case you need a UX Designer, let's discuss!

Hey man! Nice to see that you are creating successful projects and products with Svelte/SvelteKit! I'm a experience full stack developer with 7+ years of experience, aiming to launch my micro-saas too. My most successful product so far was Puxa Capivara here in Brazil, where you get AI-crafted analysis for legal processes in layman terms. Now I'm seeking new projects.

If you just want to chat or talk about projects, drop me a message! (I'm new here, so I don't know how to post email). But find me on Linkedin: Arthur Borges - Puxa Capivara - Brazil

It's been great to see the initial response on this post. Haven't found the right match for this idea however. Bumping for visibility.
