A peek: 
The backstory: We launched our eBook and Notion kit last Friday as the DIY Startup School — it's heavily spy-themed, with allusions to Carmen Sandiego. We did up the landing page to match.
Our thoughts were that it helps in self-selecting.
Anyone put off by the landing wouldn't be fans of the book. Vice versa, if you think the landing is cool, you'll probably be excited to crack open the eBook.
Do you think that idea holds up or are elements of this page a bit too alienating?
