Hi, I am an internet marketer who focuses specifically on lead generation for political figures/campaigns and financial/health newsletters.
I have profitably spent up to $30K/day of my own funds on affiliate campaigns and on our own products. My average ROI over the last 2 years has been around 350%. In 2017, I built a political news website and took it from $0 to $200k/month profit in less than 60 days and with only 1 employee.
I am here looking for an experienced technical co founder. In case funding is absolutely required, I am good friends with a few well-known VCs.

Hi Bren, I have read the things you have done, very interesting, congratulations.
I’d like your opinion on some projects I have started. I developed a news and a traffic vocal assistant extension for the Google assistant. Google call these extensions “actions”, sort of Alexa “skills”. I started because I like this natural language recognition/voice field and also, I heard it’s promising. One week ago, I published the news application and users seem to like it, today there are 500 users but they grow each day more. The special features I didn’t see in other similar application are: totally controlled by voice (ideal for driving, cooking, etc.), customizable news source by country and time zone, search for popular news or for news a specific topic, save favorite news to read complete coverage later on a screen.
The traffic application is intended for commuters that know very well the streets they do often so they don’t want a navigator, just a lightweight application to know if in some areas there are incidents, jams, etc., they can even report problems, save favorite places with vocal notes and parking.
There is not a clear monetization strategy as far as I know, at least for Google assistant, but I expect it to come soon maybe in the form of advertising or subscriptions. There are of course also other vocal platforms like Alexa, Siri, Bixby, etc. that could be covered.
I started as a solo developer just to taste the water and gain a position in the space. Initial results seem encouraging but I am waiting to see the retention rate.

Hey, sure. I actually had a few news sites. I arbitraged the cost of buying page likes on Facebook with ad revenue generated from the traffic generated from those page likes.
So I typically spent $0.02 per targeted page like. It cost $20,000 to build a niche page to 1M followers. Then I would hire content writers and used Spike Newswhip to help them find trending content. Writers would post about 8 articles per day to the pages. Back in 2016-2017, a 1M follower page could generate $30-40k/month in ad revenue or possibly more if you had a decent adops team. Some guys outsourced adops to 3rd party services like MonetizeMore and Ezoic. Everything was pretty much hands-free for me and margins were 🔥
One of my partners took it to a whole other level, though. They automated 'likejacking' back in 2014 and built a page network to well over 100M US followers that grew by almost 200,000 followers per day FOR FREE. They had a 4 man team and were generating $700k/month in pure profit from ads.
The page business was HUGE. Buzzfeed built a billion dollar company off of Facebook page traffic. They just started before anyone else, diversified traffic sources, and then burned the bridge behind them. I met Joe from Littlethings.com, they were doing over $60M/year. Also met Eytan (founder of Adsense) who started Render Media.
Sadly, these days are long gone :(

I typically only put a lot of time into projects that can be mostly automated. I picked up creatives.io recently and have been thinking about starting a productized service model for ad creatives design (video ads and graphics).
The news websites I built were reliant on traffic from Facebook pages. This entire business model was pretty much crushed a little over a year ago when they changed Newsfeed algorithm.
So you're looking to create fiverr but exclusively for video creatives?
Yep! Unlimited creatives design for a flat monthly fee. Static and video creatives.
Not sure about the unlimited part since that might not be very scalable but the idea I had before is to create a fiverr for creatives and add additional collaborative tools specific for image and video creations. Although it's really good at getting people to talk and find each other (the essential platform functionality), Fiverr doesn't have those tools. As an example, I want to tell the designer which video snippets to edit or take out using the platform (after I upload the video). I can't do that with fiverr right now (at least I wasn't able to when I checked).
